Dir en grey live @ Shinkiba Studio Coast

I just saw Dir en grey live at Shinkiba Studio Coast. I don't know what to say. Let me write something later, it's too much right now. One thing I can mention though is that I got wonderful songs... Drain Away, dead tree, Namamekashiki, etc.

I almost forgot how much I love this band and how much they mean and have always meant to me.

Goodbye Lishan, hello Tetsu!

Last Thursday me and Daun were planning to go shopping... and we did. Kim came along and we went to Shibuya 109 to look for clothes, though Daun got bored really easily so we went to the food area which is at the B2 floor and she and Kim bought candy and nachos! Haha! I have never seen anyone go to Shibuya 109 to buy food :') She's the best, haha!

Anyhow, outside Shibuya 109 were Lishan, Frankie, Cedric and many other people who wanted to say goodbye to Lishan because she was leaving for Singapore that Friday. The reason why everyone were outside Shibuya 109 was only because it's pretty much Lishan's place... no 109 without her, she loves that fashion and everything. So we took a bunch of photos there and enjoyed some talking, though I bet we stood in the way for a lot of people.

After saying goodbye me, Frankie, Daun, Kim and Frankie's friend Tetsu who came for a visit from Hong Kong went to an izakaya. It was nice getting to know Tetsu and the same Friday me, him and Frankie went to ATOM to have fun. I must say I did enjoy it a lot even though both of were nowhere to be seen at the end of the night. Frankie took a cab home to his special someone and Tetsu just simply got lost while trying to find me. Anyway, I had a lot of fun.

Kamakura with Dai

Last week I went to Kamakura with Dai. Kamakura is like 1,5 hours away from Ikebukuro and it is definitely worth the fare - I didn't even think it was 1,5 hours it felt like 15 minutes! The weather was simply beautiful and we walked around in there and it felt like being in a different part of the world because it was really a touch of traditional Japan. Dai told me that many rich people live in Kamakura because it's expensive to get a good house there since it's so close to nature and to the sea. Enoshima beach is apparently really close, wow!

Anyhow, I ate tasty noodles and we checked all the small stores. Though since we came there so late we couldn't really participate in the tourist attractions since it was a Sunday and evereything was closed after 4-5 pm or something like that. Therefore we decided to go there soon again!

Korean dinner in Shinegota

My friend Jiyeon invited me to her house some weeks ago to eat delicious Korean dinner and to just chat. So me, Tony, Kim, Eunkyum, Eunkyum's friend and Sho went there. I loved the food - so amazingly delicious as always! We talked and enjoyed an evening and afterwards me and Kim walked home from Shinegota. I have never been walking from Shinegota but we managed and his home was on the way to mine, though when he left I still had like an hour to work a straight way I had never seen before. I didn't really recognize where I was until it was like ten minutes from my house. Though I really enjoyed walking there alone, in the dark.. even though it wasn't dark, the sky was dark but since it's Tokyo there were lights everywhere and it was still wet from all the rain from earlier.

I love this city.

ROPPONGI

I went to Roppongi on day some weeks ago with my friend Eunkyum and it was mainly because I had never really explored that area of Tokyo. Most people told me to not go there because the atmosphere is different from the parts of Tokyo that I usually go to and it doesn't feel like Tokyo. I can agree as much to say that it doesn't feel like Tokyo and maybe also because you can spot more foreign people than you can spot in Shinjuku or Shibuya for instance. Though that they I really enjoyed Roppongi because the weather was really nice and we sat on a café that was a little fancy but still not so high price.

Anyway, we walked around and Eunkyum showed me the main club street where all the dark skinned guys try to make people to go to their clubs in the night. Also, we ate monjayaki and okonomiyaki on that street. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the old me at the counter had to help us all the time - we were like handicapped since Eunkyum have never been eating either okonomiyaki or monjayaki and neither has she been making it ever, I have only done it once so... though I think our skills improved really well :)
