Classmates ♥

(Hana & Lucia, Hana wears my glasses and she looks awfully
cute in them, doesn't she? Lucia always pulls of the serious look
;D)

(That's me and Hana. We usually look like that during the breaks in school!)

(Hana is bringing smexy-pack (no, not sexy back lol!))

(Hana, me and Lucia. We wanted to do the
"poke-in-the-nose-but-actually-not-poking"-pose
)

(....just, lol :'D)

(We don't like cleavages!)

(My favorite teacher, Naito-sensei! :D)

(My class - 1M!)

(Hana, Rina & Stephanie :D)

I just had to do this post. This Friday me, Hana and Lucia (two of my classmates) were hanging out after class and we went to the study room where we planned to study kanji. I think the pictures tell a lot about how much we studied = not at all.

I am so happy that I have such wonderful classmates ♥

AKB48

This group consists of 48 girls, record anyone? They are so so sooo popular in Japan now and that's why I decided to make a post about them. However, I'm not really going to tell you more... instead I'll just let you watch a video from youtube and read information from wikipedia.

"AKB48 is an all-female Japanese theater/idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto. Unlike other idol groups in Japan, AKB48 is theater-based and have their own theater in Akihabara (a district in Tokyo) where they perform once every weekday, and more than once on both Saturday and Sunday. The theater is set up on the 8th floor of Don Quijote. Some of the title songs released as a single have been made a tie-in song for a television show or a television advertisement. The name derives from a shortened, Romanized representation of 'Akihabara'.

AKB48 is divided into three teams: Team A, Team K and Team B. Currently, there are 16 members in Team A, 16 members in Team K, and 16 members in Team B, getting to the total of 48 members in AKB48. Minami Takahashi is the captain of Team A, Sayaka Akimoto is the captain of Team K, and Yuki Kashiwagi is the captain of Team B.

Opening ceremony of Hotel Luxs

Yesterday my friend Eiji and his family's company opened up a new Love hotel in Gotanda called "Hotel Luxs". The opening ceremony consisted of loads of delicious Korean food and many people who were a part of the project of building the hotel that took one and a half year to build. The atmosphere was nice and everyone seemed really happy that it ended so well. Eiji showed me all the rooms and indeed the name of the hotel confirms its meaning when you walk into extremely luxurious hotel rooms with everything from large beds to massage couches and huge white-screen TVs.

I had so much fun taking pictures of the party, pouring alcohol to salarymen while saying "Otsukaresama" and laughing at Eiji while he took his first steps in becoming a businessman as this was his first business-event. Loads of businesscards were exchanged and I felt somehow very proud of my friend for being so professional yet so young - 21! I'm sure this hotel is going to be very popular and successful :)

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures myself of this event except for a picture of how I look like, that is - my outfit. It was supposed to be formal but since I don't have any formal clothes I just put on my graduation-dress and a pink cardigan.

Odaiba

This Monday I went to Odaiba with my special someone and the sun was very bright that day. Odaiba is like an hour from my place and the scenery on the way was just beautiful - Tokyo bay and the sea. It felt like I was in another city, Tokyo has so many different sides that it's impossible to get bored or feel like you have seen everything too many times, it never ends - this excitement.

Furthermore, Odaiba is a place for amusement and there are tons of things to do. It's a very popular spot for dating and it has a beautiful beach and Odaiba is really famous for its "rainbow bridge" which lits up in many colors when it gets dark. We walked around from 4PM to 8PM and we still had so much left to see, but we managed to ride the Ferris wheel and get an amazing view of Tokyo. Also, we ate kaiten sushi, walked around in a shopping mall, visited Fuji TV and I ate shaved ice with maccha-flavour and sweetened red beans! Loved it as always ♥

I would definitely recommend Odaiba for anyone. It's a really beautiful place.

@ ダウン's

My dear friend ダウン invited me to her new apartment and cooked dinner for me and two of her friends - Eiji and Kim. We ate delicious Korean food and played drinking games. One of the drinking games that we played was the Baskin Robbins (31)-drinking game where all the people say three numbers or more until it is all added up to 31 and the one who says 31 has to shot a whole glass mixed with soju and Asahi beer. Also, we ate a lot of chocolate and laughed so much! Kim started dancing and singing and being all funny and we realized we had a lot of music likes in common and it was pretty easy to decide to go to karaoke in the near future.

Tokyo tower

Yesterday I went to Tokyo tower with a special someone and the view was great. Bad thing was we had to stand in the line for 40 minutes to get the tickets and then another 20 minutes to enter the elevator that would take us to the first level which was 150 meters above the ground. There was a lot to see and once again it was confirmed to me that Tokyo is never-ending. Afterwards we headed to the wax museum next to the Tokyo tower and inside I saw a lot of funny statues of historically important people like Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Winston Churchill etc., but also The Beatles. Apparently it was forbidden to take pictures but I didn't notice that until later...

Afterwards we went to Shinjuku and ate sushi-go-round and I ate seven plates since I forgot to eat breakfast that day, I only managed to drink Korean coffee (God's gift to humanity). We also paid a visit at the Tokyo Metropoliten Government building - it was my third time to go up there and it seems I've been there every time during different times in a day. Like, morning, afternoon, night :)

A supernice day!

Purikura

My first purikura to be put up on internet. Eunkyum and me, aren't we pretty? ♥

Photobooth #2 + nails

Did my nails today. I bought the nail stickers and the green nailpolish at SPINNS for only 105円 each luuuuurv it! Now I'm off to Tokyo tower, expect some pictures later.

:)

Pink gala & meeting Eunkyum

I decided to meet with one of my interpal friends Eunkyum today and the first thing that happens in the morning is that she calls me 13:08 PM and asks me where I am - needless to say I overslept big time. Anyhow, one hour later I sincerely apologized and we met up in Ikebukuro and then we headed to Shin-okubo by foot. Her grandma has a Korean restaurant in Shin-okubo so we went there to eat and we ate tteobokki, cold Korean noodles and delicious Korean pancakes! Since she knows the staff we got pay like 50% less. Soooo nice, I didn't even know how to show how grateful I was ♥

Afterwards we went to Iceberry café and ate a really amazing Korean ice cream that had hokkaidomilk flavour and added that was sweetened red beans, crushed ice, watermelon and strawberry, I was simply in heaven. When we felt extremely full we walked to Shinjuku and just walked around and decided we would walk all the way to Shibuya and so we did... it took many hours. At 10 PM we headed to Echo because Said and Yuka were there and Eunkyum wanted to listen to the House music that they were going to play there. Apparently the air conditioner was broken so it felt like being in a sauna times two.

However, we left at 11:30 PM and I had a really great time.

I ♥ 韓国のコーヒ

Needless to say - I love Korean coffee ♥

Enjoying Shin-okubo during the summer vacation

Kim and Hideki invited me to a small gathering of people that would go to Shin-okubo (where my school is) and so we all went there and ate really good Korean food. We only had to pay 1500円 each even though we ordered several dishes and this is probably because it was quite cheap. However, I got really full and we had dessert afterwards with delicious ice cream that we brought to a karaoke place that we headed to afterwards. I sang 2NE1's song "Fire" alone and it felt a bit weird because no one helped me, usually when I go to karaoke I go with Kibe and other people and Kibe always helps me as backup-vocal even if he doesn't know the song himself. After everything I walked home to Itabashi from Shin-okubo and it did take a lot of time but I enjoyed the walk.

Now, this week has been pretty chill. Yesterday I had a picnic in Yoyogi koen with Yuki and we walked from Shin-okubo to Yoyogi and then from Yoyogi to Harajuku, on top of that I walked to Itabashi from Ikebukuro - all in all that are extremely long distances that take hours to walk. Also, yesterday I saw a new sort of drink at Family Mart that was kind of a mix of melonsoda with vanilla ice cream - I tried it today and it was sooo sweet and delicious in the beginning but afterwards it just got all disgusting.

Tomorrow I'm going to school to do my Study-confirmation for CSN and then I'll do some food-shopping in Shin-okubo, they even have tofu for 35円!!! *Anica-the-poor-student-who-eats-out-every-day* Then later I'll meet a special someone and see Inception in the cinema.
